Care Instructions

How to take care of your furniture?

To clean your plastic and fiberglass furniture, wipe it down with warm, soapy water. Dry afterwards with a cloth. Much of our polypropylene furniture is weather resistant and UV stabilised, however it is always best to keep furniture away from direct sunlight and the sun’s harmful ultraviolet rays.

These care instructions are a general guide, for any specific instructions check your product care label.

How to care for your rugs?

For all natural fibre rugs, we recommend vacuuming your rug before any dirt is embedded, ideally twice a week. It's best to use a vacuum with either a motorised head or a rotating head, depending on the weaving techniques.

If you get mud on your rug, it's usually best to allow it to dry and then gently brush it off, followed by a thorough vacuuming. We do not recommend high temperature steam cleaning as this can shrink or expand the rug fibres. We recommend using rug cleaning kits for regular maintenance. For larger soiled areas please refer to a specialist carpet cleaner.

To keep your rug looking fabulous, it is best to rinse out stains and wash it without rubbing. Hand or machine wash at 30˚C without spin or tumble dry. Shape whilst wet and then hang dry. These type of rugs are best kept inside when not in use as they may fade in extensive direct sunlight.

Regular vacuuming and the occasional gentle shake should keep your rug in shipshape condition. All 100% PET area rugs are hoseable and scrubbable. Air dry only. Please do not tumble dry.
