Ethics & Sustainability

At Life Interiors, we believe that sustainability is a key part of how our brand develops and grows within todays society. Looking at the way that we do things and finding better solutions that are softer on the planet and in line with our ethical standards is key to us moving forward.

Take a look at the steps we've already made and our progress so far as we continue on our sustainability journey...

A Word From Our Founders

"As an Australian business that started from humble beginnings, we are rooted in how far we've come.

We believe in passing things forward and facilitating a sustainable future, involving our customers in our journey to supporting causes that are close to our hearts."

Basil & Geoff Karam
Founders of Life Interiors

In the brands that we carry...

The brands that we carry are an integral part of Life Interiors and we are proud to represent brands that are committed to an ethical and sustainable future. We also want to highlight our collection of Australian made brands, including Kimmy Hogan, Middle of Nowhere, and Bonnie & Neil.

For the next 25 years ahead, Ethnicraft are developing a new vision for sustainability based on designing for circularity and lengthening product lifespans.

What else are we doing?

High Quality Control Standards

Life Interiors maintains a commitment to ensuring high quality products through our rigorous and detailed Quality inspections provided by third party Quality Assurance teams.

BSCI Audit

We choose to work with factories who pass BSCI auditing. BSCI auditing is performed by accredited third party auditors who extensively investigate the factories ensuring the 11 key BSCI social pillars are met.

Ethical Sourcing

Life Interiors ensures strict Due Diligience checks are met on all imported products. We are committed to ensuring we do our part to end illegal logging.

We are doing our part to reduce what goes to landfill through our packaging.

Our packaging now mostly consists of the following recyclable components:
