As part of our ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability, we recently had the privilege to join forces with our brand partner, i=Change, to participate in a tree-planting event hosted by Greening Australia. This organisation is renowned for its collaborative, science-based programs designed to restore and protect Australia’s unique landscapes and biodiversity for the past four decades.
Greening Australia’s ambitious goal is to establish 500 million native plants and secure 330,000 hectares of habitat by 2030. It's a challenge we admire and a commitment we were excited to contribute towards.
The tree-planting event took place at Greening Australia’s Native Seed Centre for Restoration, which is where the collecting, cleaning, propagating, and growing of various native species is carried out.
Alongside other supporters, the Life team got their hands dirty (quite literally) and together planted over 2,000 native seedlings. Each seedling represents a step towards Greening Australia's mission of rebuilding nature and establishing a harmonious connection between community, economy, and environment.
Participation in this tree-planting event is one of many ways we're actively working towards a greener future. We are proud to have contributed to the aspirations of the Traditional Owners of the land to restore the country, and had so much fun supporting Greening Australia’s vision at the event.
