Set within the newly reimagined InterContinental Coogee Beach, our latest project brings Rick Stein's flagship Australian restaurant to life, combining refined dining with relaxed beachfront hospitality.
In collaboration with Salter Brothers Group, we designed a range of furniture solutions tailored to each space throughout the venue.
From bespoke dining tables to thoughtfully selected seating, every detail was considered to create a cohesive design story that reflects the warmth and character of its iconic coastal setting.
At the heart of the project are a series of custom-designed dining and bar tables, developed in response to the client's brief for something distinctively unique.
The sculptural timber bases feature a subtle twist and engraved detailing, bringing depth and character to the design. Paired with Carrara marble tops, aged brass trim and a refined shadow gap that allows the stone to appear almost floating, each table balances functionality with considered detail.
Throughout the restaurant, the Noris Paper Cord Dining Chair and Bar Stool in Walnut were selected for their generous curved backrests and armrests, providing premium comfort for long lunches and dinners.
The natural paper cord seat offers an elevated textural contrast and complements the relaxed coastal aesthetic, while the walnut finish was carefully colour-matched to the custom-designed tables to create a cohesive material palette.
The result is a hospitality destination where thoughtful detailing and premium quality come together to create a dining experience that feels both elevated and effortlessly connected to its surroundings.
