Remove the top layer from the base layer. Place the top layer in the washer, pile side facing out. Machine wash cold on a delicate cycle using mild, non-bleach detergent. Tumble dry on low or an air fluff setting; alternatively hang to air-dry. After drying, gently finger-comb through the pile to fluff up the texture. Reconnect.
