We chat to Kim about how she went about styling the space and the pieces she chose to feature...
How would you describe your personal interior style?
I find my personal interior style is constantly changing, the longer we live in the home the more I am drawn to natural interior design, warm woods, light bright neutrals and pieces that can work effortlessly from room to room and where we can bring the outdoors in with nature inspired materials and a pops of green too.
How did you go about styling the pieces you chose within your master bedroom?
An interior design once told me that furniture should be complimentary but not matching, we’ve made this mistake when we first moved into our home so I picked pieces that worked together, subtle curves from the legs on the bed, to the legs on the bedside table and the arches in the Middle of Nowhere mirrors too!
Out of the Life pieces you chose, which is your favourite and why?
The Marlo Bed Frame is my favourite piece, I know for some its just a bed, but I love the colour, the grain and the detail in the frame. Its a timeless piece that will last in our space even as my interior style changes. I LOVE that it comes with two sets of legs, one with brass caps and a set without so its perfect to add a subtle change without any cost involved too.
