What are the main design influences behind Urban Road and where do you find your inspiration?
At Urban Road, our influences are a blend of various elements. It's born from the collective knowledge and expertise of our dedicated team, each member bringing their unique perspective and skill set to the table.
We're deeply passionate about what we do, and that passion serves as a driving force behind our creative endeavours.
In terms of inspiration, we keep a vigilant eye on the ever-evolving design landscape. Staying current with the latest trends is crucial for us. We don't just follow trends; we strive to set them. It's about understanding the nuances of contemporary design while remaining true to our artistic vision.
But there's an exciting twist to our approach. While we've traditionally excelled in crafting individual pieces that make a statement, we're currently focusing on curating design solutions. It's a shift towards a holistic perspective, where we consider how our creations fit into the larger context of interior design. This enables us to provide our customers with comprehensive design solutions that elevate their spaces to a whole new level.
So, in essence, our inspiration comes from a blend of expertise, passion, trend-setting, and a renewed emphasis on curating complete design experiences

We're planning to expand our product range, bringing even more unique designs to our customers. And, here's the exciting bit – we're thrilled to announce our upcoming exclusive range in collaboration with Interior Designer Darren Palmer.

What’s one piece of advice you can give to someone looking to start a small business?
Well, here's a nugget of wisdom – start small, but dream big.
It's a bit like creating art, isn't it? Begin with a clear vision of what you want to achieve, and then take one step at a time. Don't be afraid to ask for help or learn from your mistakes.
And, most importantly, stay passionate about what you're doing. That enthusiasm can move mountains (or at least help you overcome some hurdles). Remember, in the world of small business, it's essential to continue learning and pivot when necessary.
If you can do this, you'll be just fine on your entrepreneurial journey.
