We chat to Bella about her personal interior style and her creative process when creating content for the brands she works with...
How would you describe your personal interior style?
I don't know if I can even manage to put myself under one category, maybe chic-hamptons-minimalist with a touch of french provincial...is that a style? Hahaha. I like keeping things quite neutral, I love my whites and jazzing up the house with gold tones and colourful books and flowers, but love the romance of an antique french cabinet.
We love the pieces you chose for your dining and kitchen refresh! Which would you say is your favourite and why?
The table and chairs are my all-time favourites. I've spent more time in my dining room than I have in my lounge room the last three months!! The texture of the Blake chairs (I HAVE to mention how comfy they are...10/10 for a dining chair) with the Cosmos terrazzo stone tabletop work so beautifully together, especially with the gold accents on the chairs which ties in perfectly to my Atticus floor lamp. These pieces made my 'house' feel more like a home, I genuinely look forward to coming home because of how beautiful and cozy it is.
You create such stunning content for some amazing brands, how do you start your creative process?
Bless you. Thank you so much!!!! When I'm working with products, a lot of the time I create what I would want to see myself. If it's skincare, I want to see how it's used and what the benefits are, but in a soothing way. If it's fashion, I want to see how the clothes make someone FEEL not just how they look, and for the home, it's all about creating a story and moments, showing people how the small details and additions can make the biggest impact. I truly believe in romanticising life and finding the magic in everything, if I can make one person smile a day I'll be happy doing this job for the rest of my life.
If you could pick one other Life Interiors piece from our collection, what would you choose?
HOW COULD I CHOOSE ONE?! I wish my whole house could be Life Interiors. I can't stand my current couch and I'd love to go with the Prague Boucle Modular sofa, I think it would compliment the chairs in the bar/dining area and love that you can make it custom to you and your space.
